Kolej Yayasan Sabah Animation Studio

The Animation Studio of Kolej Yayasan Sabah at Sembulan, Kota Kinabalu is getting more and more visitors coming to see the facilities and the courses. This is the only Animation Studio in Borneo and it is a 2 years course in Diploma in Animation. It is a full time course.

This is an opportunity for the Entrepreneurs to learn new skill and they can do this at home and SOHO. The Studio is now preparing to do 5 episodes of the story of Mt. Kinabalu, Sabah as its first project.

Challenges In the Fasting Month

Entrepreneurs who operate restaurants and eateries are affected when the month of Ramadhan approaches as they have to close their doors during the day to respect the month of fasting. They will have to look for alternative sources of income and most of them sell Hari Raya clothing and accessories like songkok, buttons for the Malay dress, hari raya cards, perfumes and the like. Those who have alternative source of income will have no problem but for those who are new in business will have to adjust their cash-flow. That is the life of the Malay or Indian Muslim Entrepreneur during the month of fasting. These are some of the challenges they have to face in their business.

Completed my assignment on the DPBS Entrepreneural Development in the next 7 years until the end of the 10th Malaysia Plan. The Plan goal is to develop 48 successful Entrepreneurs in DPBS in 12 Districts where DPBS has Liaison Offices in Sabah.This is the DPBS Business Model.
